I’m excited to be partnering with Talbots for the launch of their capsule collection featuring five items designed by the Talbots team and O Magazine. Every year they focus on pieces that will fit seamlessly into your wardrobe and this year’s emphasis comfort and versatility. I chose the stripe shirt in the collection to style and it’s the softest thing I own!
The best part of the capsule collection is that 30% of the proceeds go to the organization Dress for Success. I’ve done a lot of research on the organization, but they say their mission best on their website – The mission of Dress for Success is to empower women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the development tools to help women thrive in work and in life. This means that they are paying for dry cleaning, supplying them with professional clothing, giving them internet access to search for jobs, and helping prep them for the interview process. There is a need for this all across the country and the world so please do not hesitate to help out. Each Talbots location has a drop box where you can donate your gently used professional clothing. My office attire is no longer dressy, so I was able to find some pieces to donate, and I feel great knowing they’ll help another woman.
The shirt in the collection is my favorite piece because it’s so soft and can be dressed up or down. I also love this trench because it’s helping bring me into spring after a long winter. Who doesn’t love a pop of pink in their wardrobe to brighten things up? Last but not least, these white denim jeggings are incredible! I’m going to be living in these year round. After having a baby I appreciate high waisted pants being in style.
