Graduate Hotel

We had the best stay at the Graduate Hotel’s Ann Arbor location and I’d love to share some pictures of my experience. If you’ve been following me for awhile, you know I have a classic/preppy style and love anything with a collegiate flair. This hotel could not be more up my alley and I cannot wait to go back!

Each hotel in the Graduate Hotel family is nestled into a college town and is decorated with the university’s history and culture in mind. They’re meant to embody the youthful spirit of your college days and be a wonderful place for current students, alumni, and fans alike. There are 13 current locations, and 13 more being built. Check this out to see if there is one in your area. We stayed in the Ann Arbor location that sat across from the University of Michigan campus.

From the time we walked in to the time we checked out, no detail was overlooked in our visit. I was in constant awe of how much time and energy went into creating such a wonderful space. Our room was beautiful, decorated with clean linens, unique art, and persian rugs that gave us an old school Ivy League feel.

In our room was a Michigan themed little gift basket full of local favorites. If you are not from Michigan, you probably have never had Rock & Rye pop. I am not a big fan of pop, but Rock & Rye is my all time favorite. The taste is like nothing you’ve had before!

The lobby is truly where this hotel shines with a 40 foot table meant to mimic the University of Michigan’s law library . Here you can enjoy coffee from the hotel’s coffee shop, study for an exam, work on a project, or simply hang out. It’s a gorgeous space that’s open for anyone to come and enjoy, and was the highlight of our trip.

We ended our day with a dinner with the hotel’s resturant, the Allen Rumsey Cocktail Lounge. Everything we ate was delicious but our favorite was the cheese board on the Michigan shaped cutting board.

We love visiting Ann Arbor and will definitely be back at the Graduate Hotel. Since each location is uniquely decorated to that college town, I’m eager to see what the other locations are like. If I’m ever looking for a place to stay in any of the locations, I’ll for sure be staying at a Graduate Hotel.

Thank you Graduate Hotels for having us!
