Fall Pants Picks

I picked up a few new pairs of pants for Fall/Winter and wanted to share my finds. I have some older pairs of cords from J Crew, but they were very stiff, so I searched for a new pair. After reading rave reviews I tried the Garnet Hill Slim 5 Pocket cords and ordered the “Ginger” and “British Tan” color, which were on sale for $18. I’m pretty happy with them and have already worn the orange pair. I ordered the petite size because they are shorter and don’t need hemming, and I also ordered a size up since I like to tuck in my shirts.

The third pair of pants were brought to me by a suggestion when I asked if anyone wears thicker leggings that can pass as pants and not so tight and legging-like. The Lilly Pulitzer Travel Pant is incredible and now on sale even cheaper than what I paid at 6pm.com. They tuck nicely into boots and are way thicker than a normal legging, and can even be considered as pants. I love that the seam runs down the front for extra style.

Pants are such a tricky buy since there are so many factors that go into the fit. I’ve definitely noticed that the more I work out, my pants seem to fit differently as I gain muscle in my legs. I’m always open to suggestions for your favorite pant. I love anything that’s tapered and can tuck easily into boots with stretch at the waist. Extra points for belt loops since I like to tuck in my shirt. 🙂
