My summer wardrobe largely consists of red, white, and blue, and lots of stripes, so this red striped tee was a no-brainer when I picked it up last summer from J Crew factory. It’s reminiscent of french sailors, but also has that all-American retro look to it. I find it easy to wear with blue jeans / shorts, white jeans / shorts, and my new favorite color combo – red and mint.
I’ve rounded up a few choices for a red striped tee that are all boat neck collar and three-quarter length sleeves. I recommend the J Crew Factory one because I like the spacing the stripes and the shade of red.

I teamed up with my friend, Cynthia (@cynthiateri on instagram), from Darling Down South, to show you another way to style the shirt. She has incredible style and a fantastic blog that I love to read, so check her out! I loved her pattern mixing while styling this shirt – so fun for summer.

June 10, 2015 at 12:44 pm (8 years ago)The shoes are the classic sperrys in sahara – http://www.sperry.com/en/authentic-original-2-eye-boat-shoe/10096W.html?dwvar_10096W_color=9155240#cgid=women-features-best-selling&start=1
The shorts are older so they don’t have that color exactly right now, however, they have many other colors: https://factory.jcrew.com/womens-clothing/shorts/4inch/PRDOVR~60469/60469.jsp

The first one is what I own exactly! I think the other two are men’s. I’ve had mine for 5 years and they still look great!
