I’ve been wanting a pair of Bean Boots for a long time and after doing extensive research (seriously, my family was sick of hearing me discuss my bean boot options), I chose the Bison Bean Boot and received them as a birthday gift from my parents. I love the regular bean boot look, but the red sole and bison leather sold me on this pair. These are limited edition and there are limited qualities, whereas the regular bean boot will always be available. There was a wait on several sizes and mine were not going to be available until late October, but thanks to the advice from the LL Bean PR Instagram, I called customer service and they were able to locate one of the last few pairs in my size in one of their stores and shipped it to me. Side note – LL Bean has the best customer service hands down. I asked them lots of questions, including dumb questions like “Can I get these monogrammed?”, and they were more than helpful.
Bean Boots are definitely an investment piece you will have for years to come. They are made in America with the utmost quality and they are designed to last. Even if they do get damaged, you can send them back and LL Bean will repair them. What other company stands behind their products like that?
My husband, Joe, and I went for a quick walk earlier this week and I decided to break in my new Bean Boots. While I was getting ready to head out the door he said, “I thought we were just going for a quick walk, you look like you’re ready for me to take your OOTD.” Well, he was right.
He was such a good sport about letting me take these photos even though he said that guys never put their feet this close together. Thanks Joe!

November 7, 2014 at 1:24 am (9 years ago)Are they pretty stiff? I’ve only worn mine a handful of times so far but I think they’re pretty flexible. I need to break them in more because the more you break them in, the more the bison leather turns into a nice warm brown. We are lucky girls because they are backordered until February, and I’m pretty sure they won’t even get more stock because they’re supposed to be discontinued!

January 6, 2015 at 10:50 am (8 years ago)I’m so glad you said that, I debated for awhile on which ones to get and I figured the regular ones will always be around but the bison ones won’t. The socks are from the J Crew Factory awhile back, but I know they carry them often.
Thanks for reading. 🙂
